BARD’s live documentary coverage has taken its production staff around the world. Live from a Shark Cage originated from Bikini Atoll, part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Airing on the Discovery Channel, the live broadcast was the initial program for Discovery’s popular Shark Week. World-famous diver Al Giddings led the live underwater expedition, 23 miles from shore with some of the most aggressive sharks on Earth.
