This American Life Live, Year One
On May 1st, acclaimed radio and television host Ira Glass brought the wildly popular show This American Life to the big screen for a one-night only event. This exclusive theatre event was broadcast LIVE from New York via satellite to select movie theatres nationwide, becoming the first major media program to be distributed using digital cinema. Glass debuted never-before-seen, extraordinary, funny, and true stories from everyday life, answered audience questions, and showed outtakes from the program. This one-night event featured writer David Rakoff and director Chris Wilcha, and was presented in HD and Cinema Surround Sound.
