PAPAL VISIT OF POPE FRANCIS TO NEW YORK CITY
From touchdown to liftoff, BARD provided wall-to-wall coverage of Pope Francis's visit to New York for 48 hours. Images of the streets leading to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, filled with thousands who waved flags and chanted the Pope's name, were followed by a moving Vespers service inside the Cathedral. His second day in NY brought His Holiness to the 9/11 Memorial where he prayed at the south pool before descending below ground to Foundation Hall. There, he joined several of the city’s religious leaders for an interfaith service, a remaining slurry wall of the Twin Towers serving as a their backdrop and a powerful reminder of the need for all to come together. Equally moving was an intimate gathering with students at Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem. The joy Pope Francis experienced as he interacted with the children was felt by all in attendance, and by those watching around the world.
PAPAL VISIT OF POPE BENEDICT XVI TO NEW YORK CITY
BARD Entertainment was selected as the official world broadcaster for three of the venues that his Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, visited in NYC. BARD produced and directed the mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Pope’s visit to Ground Zero where he met with a group of relatives of the victims and a handful of first responders, and his Holiness’s departure ceremony from JFK—on the Alitalia flight designated as Shepherd One.
TRADING SPACES: HOME FREE - LIVE FINALE EPISODE

The series culminated in an hour-long broadcast from Orlando, Florida, in which host Paige Davis announced the winner in an emotional and spectacular live reveal before the contestants, hundreds of their friends, and their neighbors. BARD Entertainment produced and directed the live finale episode for TLC, in association with Banyan Productions who produced the weekly series.
EGYPT WEEK LIVE
For 5 straight nights, the Discovery Channel broadcast live in prime-time from the Bahariya Oasis in Egypt, where the famed Golden Mummies were discovered. Hosts Laura Greene and Mike Rowe, along with Egypt’s leading archeology expert and Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Dr. Zawi Hawass, led viewers through a riveting hands-on exploration under Egypt’s desert, unearthing mummies and sarcophogi buried over 2500 years ago. Produced, directed, and written by BARD (in partnership with Fulcrum from the UK), the production used rigging and cameras designed by both British and American crews to meet the challenges of this unique setting, creating an unprecedented week-long live view of the excavations.
A PRAYER FOR AMERICA - YANKEE STADIUM MEMORIAL
BARD Entertainment was honored to produce and direct the 9/11 Memorial from Yankee Stadium just days after the horrendous attack on the World Trade Center. Families of the victims, clergy, politicians, and thousands of New Yorkers came together in an inter-faith service called “A Prayer for America.”
Tears were streaming as families held pictures of their loved ones killed in the terrorist attack. This emotionally charged ceremony, hosted by Oprah Winfrey and James Earl Jones, brought America together for the first time since the falling of the Twin Towers.
All-Mobile Video donated the mobile unit, and the production and engineering teams were comprised of industry professionals who volunteered their time and expertise. The telecast was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

The simulcast of the celebration to giant screens in the Times Square area also created a multimedia event for the 500,000 revelers who lined the streets of New York to witness this iconic event in person.
LIVE FROM A SHARK CAGE
BARD’s live documentary coverage has taken its production staff around the world. Live from a Shark Cage originated from Bikini Atoll, part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (a sprawling chain of volcanic islands and coral atolls in the central Pacific Ocean, between Hawaii and the Philippines). Airing on the Discovery Channel, the live broadcast was the initial program for Discovery’s popular Shark Week. World-famous diver Al Giddings led the live underwater expedition, 23 miles from shore with some of the most aggressive sharks on Earth.
